Suggested Prenup Locations / Venues in the Philippines

Note: I’ve been getting a lot of inquiries about contact details of the venues or procedure on getting permits, etc. Unfortunately, I am not affiliated in any of the venues listed below so I really have no idea. All the information that I have are already here. If you can add some information or some details here are already outdated, do let me know so I can edit this post. This post has had a lot of views from people so I think any information we can add would be really helpful to the other readers. Thank you. 🙂

One of the first things that need to be established when planning an engagement (prenup) shoot is the location/venue. This will depend on the concept that you are looking for (click here for some prenup ideas). So here’s a list of prenup locations that I got from the amazing members of W@W (Weddings@Work) to help you decide where to have your prenup shoot.

Disclaimer: I didn’t make the list and I’m not really sure where the list came from but I’m 100% sure that this has already been posted in other sites. I just consolidated it a bit, added some of my personal inputs or photos I found online (for inspiration) and I also added some locations on the list. I’m not sure if all the details and rates mentioned here are still the same though so best to contact the venues directly.

OUT OF TOWN
1. The Greenery (Bulacan) – Update from commenter: 6500php for 4 hours.

2. The Lakeshore (Pampanga) – P2000.00 / P500 is Consumable
(Me:) When I was planning our family shoot back in 2012, Lakeshore was one of the suggestions from our photographer (John Mateos Ong). There’s a lake and a lighthouse as well as boats and bikes inside that you can use for the shoot.

3. Jardin de Miramar (Manila)– P3,500
(Me:) The hubby and I went here when we were looking for our wedding venue. It’s really nice with different areas that you can use.

4. Tagaytay Highlands (Tagaytay) – P5,000.00

6. Triboa Bay Mangrove Park (Subic Olongapo)
7. Clear Water (Clarkfield Pampanga) – P3,000.00
(Me:) This is where we had our family shoot. There are a lot of places you can shoot at so I’m sure you could do a lot of things here. There’s a lake, a beach-inspired pool and lots of trees. Photos from our family shoot. 040D3S_6036
8. Nurture Spa (Tagaytay)
(Me:) Another nice spot at Tagaytay. We also had an occular here during venue-hunting. I’m not so sure how much you could do here for a prenup shoot though.

9. Tagaytay (in general).
(Me:) Best to go here during the weekday, otherwise, there might be a lot of people. Tagaytay has a lot of places with really nice views. Some places you can go to are: Sonya’s Garden (not sure if they allow prenups for a fee), Picnic Groove, Sky Ranch, Taal Lake Yacht Club, Memory Lane (I believe they allow it if your group is dining there) and other restaurants.

(Me:) Corregidor is really nice. I loved the ruins. Long, flowy dresses would look really lovely with the ruins at the background. I’m just not sure if you can actually go inside the ruins and up the higher floors. The tour guide mentioned that they offer prenup packages as well but I’m just not sure about the rates. Hmmm… I wonder if they allow shoots inside the tunnel. That would be interesting. Click here for our Corregidor trip last year.

35. Anawagin and Capones Island (Zambales)
(Me:) The location of our first prenup. This place is just beautiful. I went here back in 2009 with my teammates for a teambuilding and just loved the place. I wanted to bring the hubby there as well so when the subject of prenup locations came up, this was one of the first places that came to mind. Another nice location is Capones Island. It’s an island near Anawangin so if you’re planning to have a boatride to Anawangin for a shoot, then I suggest to drop by Capones Island as well. It has a very nice lighthouse that may be a pain to climb but very much worth it. 🙂 We didn’t pay anything at Capones Island but I think there’s an entrance fee at Anawangin nowadays. 36. Batlag Falls (Rizal) – 3,000 PHP
(Me:) I loved this place. This is where we had our freenup with Shayla and Dennis. The place if very foresty and reminded me of fairytales so we did Snow White. Photo by Imagine Nation. Click here for more photos.DSC_3096
37. Casa Ibiza (Rizal)
(Me:) Where we had our first postnup shoot. I love their colorful buildings. I can’t remember the rates anymore but you can contact them directly if you’re interested. 38. Bella Rocca (Marinduque)
(Me:) Another one of my fave places. When the hubby and I went here for our second anniversary, I kept hoping that we had photographers with us to have a shoot. You have the beach, a really nice view, and Santorini-inspired settings.

39. Thunderbird Resort (La Union)
(Me:) I’ve never been here but I really want to visit the place. It also has that Santorini vibe so if Bella Rocca is too far for you, here’s a good alternative.
40. Fortune Island (Batangas) – It has columns and sculptures that will look great for a Grecian themed shoot plus a replica of a wrecked ship.

NEARBY PLACES (Permits Needed – Contact their Head Offices)

1. La Mesa Eco Park (Quezon City) – P40 Q.C. Residents / P50 for regular guests (Boating, Zip Line, Nature Tripping, PicNic Setting)
(Me:) I call this the “prenup location ng bayan”. This place have seen a LOT of couples for their prenups. I’ve only been here once with friends and the place is really nice. I think most couples choose this place since you only have to pay an entrance fee for everyone in your group and there are plenty of places to shoot at here.

3. Quezon City Circle – Sport Activities
4. Eastwood City (Quezon City) – Hollywood Inspired Theme
5. Serendra / Bonifacio High Street – (Global City) – Elegant Theme
(Me:) If you don’t want to go really far and you’re from the South, then this is a nice alternative. You can have a very casual shoot around the area. The guards are really strict here so securing a permit is a must. They would allow a shoot during the morning since there will be a lot of people around lunch time onwards. We had our prenup shoot with Atty. Raymond Fortun here and is where we also had some scenes for our Save-The Date Video. Photo by Atty. Raymond Fortun.37624_429073852056_701637056_5139825_7774033_n
6. University of the Philippines (Quezon City) – Nature, Trees, Greens
(Me:) The hubby and I personally had one of our prenups here which was kinda weird considering that we didn’t go to UP for college. Our photographers for the prenup (Boxout Photography) suggested the location but none of them went to UP for college as well. 🙂 We basically just walked around, shooting as we go… We didn’t get to go to the Sunken Garden though but there are a lot of other places to shoot here. I think we did the shoot on a Sunday so there weren’t a lot of people around and nobody bothered us. I read somewhere that shooting inside the buildings will require a permit. Click here for our UP prenup photos.
7. Bonsai Garden (Quezon City, U.P. Diliman) – Plants, Bonsai, Greens
8. Intramuros (Manila) – P2000.00 (Me:) Hispanic setting. One of the best locations for a Filipiniana-themed shoot. Photo source: Metro Photo Intramuros by Metro Photo9. Paco Park (Manila) – P2,000.00

13. Butterfly Pavilion (Rizal Park)
12. Manila Ocean Park – P5,000.00
13. The Secret Garden (Novaliches)
14. Fernbrook Gardens (Alabang)
(Me:) I think a lot of people has seen this from Zoren and Carmina’s wedding. A very beautiful place. This was my dream wedding venue back in the day and you can see how picture-perfect it is even from the outside. Fairy-tale and Victorian shoot concepts would be really nice here. 25. San Juan Vintage Car Museum
26. Fully Booked (Bonifacio High Street) – 1,000php per hour. Can only shoot while the bookstore is still closed.
(Me:) Having a prenup at High Street? Why not have a prenup at Fully Booked as well? It’s a nice, cozy place and would go with book-themed prenup/wedding themes like we had. Photo by Atty. Raymond Fortun. 37624_429073822056_701637056_5139819_3104696_n27. Greenbelt (ayala) – just get a permission from their head office.

28. American War Memorial (Fort Bonifacio)
29. Libingan ng mga Bayani (Fort Bonifacio)
(Me:) I really like this place too. It’s really beautiful with all the white crosses lined up. There have been some controversies here though when a couple had a shoot here and the images did not sit well with a lot of people. Click here for an article and photos.
30. UST- Manila
(Me:) Some couples like to go back to their Alma Mater where they can re-live their school days. Especially if that’s where the couple met or if it has a special place in their hearts so universities like UST or UP have been one of the common prenup locations that couples choose.
31. The Orchidarium and Butterfly Pavilion – Rizal Park (Manila)
32. Mall Of Asia – San Miguel Drive – Nice place for a sunset shoot.
River Banks, Marikina
(Me:) I’ve only ever been here once. Our our prenup shoot with Boxout Photography, they took us here for dinner. It’s a nice place to hangout but I’m not sure how it looks in the morning since we got there quite late already.
33. Rajah Sulayman Park, Malate Church – free for all.
34. Wawa Dam
35. RCBC Building, Ayala Ave (Makati) – You need to write a letter to the general manager.
36. Manila Central Post Office – Secure a permit from the Postmaster General. A Grecian themed prenup might be nice here because of the beautiful columns.

43. A-11 Showroom Gallery (Pasay City) – A-11’s elegant vibe may channel hot ‘20s glam, but its vintage furniture keeps it modest and homey. It can easily pass as a warm 1950s American home.

57. The Henry Hotel (Pasay). Got interested in this one for a family shoot because it is very near my parents’ house. There was a promo at DealGrocer before worth 12,000php just for a prenup shoot (includes a room to change in). OTHER PRENUP LOCATIONS YOU CAN CONSIDER:
1. Gym

3. Sports Complex
4. Club House

7. Street Photography
8. Market
9. Warehouse
10. Bar
11. Construction Sites/Areas
12. Junkyard
13. Hotels
(Me:) Like what we did with our shoot last year if you’re looking for another comfy, fuzz-free vibe. SHY_123514. Groceries
15. Yacht – You can contact Realship Corp at 832-5424 and 211-0946 or e-mail them at info@realshipcorp.com
Prenup Price: P6,000 (Mondays to Thursdays) and P8,500 on (Fridays to Saturdays, holidays) for three hours (docked) without electricity and maximum of eight people only.

You may also want to consider having your prenup shoot at your own wedding venue. Some wedding venues don’t allow photoshoots unless your reception is booked with them and it’s usually for free so you might as well take advantage of it, right?

There are a LOT of other venues to choose from. Consolidating this list actually reminded me of places I wanted to shoot at before but has long been forgotten. Maybe we can revisit those for this year’s postnup shoot that has yet to be planned as it’s only January. 😉

Think out of the box. 🙂

If you think I missed anything else worth mentioning, do let me know so I can update it. The Philippines has a lot of beautiful places for engagement shoots.

    • Thanks for the info. I was hoping to have a postnup shoot here myself. 🙂 This should be helpful to anyone who are looking to have their pre/postnup at Fortune Island. It’s such a beautiful place.

  1. This is so helpful not only to couples who is planning for their photoshoot but also to other peeps out there who are struggling to find the best location suited for them.

    Thanks a lot for sharing! 😀 ❤

  2. Hi! Thank you for choosing one of our photos! That Acuatico shoot was one of our favorites 🙂 I can see that you linked it back to our website which is not working anymore. Please do find us at facebook.com/triophotos. We have other prenup shots posted that you may like as well. Thanks! 🙂

  3. Hi, I must say this page is really helpful. If you can point me to the right direction. We’re thinking of having our pre-nup shoot at Tagaytay Highlands, any idea who to contact there? Thanks!

    • Thank you. 🙂

I’m so sorry but the contact person that I had there when we did an ocular of the place has already resigned. They usually have a booth at major wedding fairs so I suggest to inquire with them directly during a fair if you don’t have their contact numbers. I’ll also try to see if I can find more information for you but no promises.

    • Thanks. 🙂 At the top of my head, the best places would be at Manila Central Post Office or if out of town, definitely Fortune Island. I can’t think of other venues right now but I remember our wedding venue (Atrium of Light of Love at QC) has columns that would look nice for as well… BUT they only allow prenups if you’re booked there.

I’ll add more on the list if I ever find other Greek-inspired venues. If you find some as well, please feel free to let me know so we could add it here. I’m sure that would help a lot of people.

    • I believe it is. But I don’t have their contact number e. I think you can Google some info about them. I remember finding some info online when I was considering this place for a shoot as well. Di ko lang na-take-note. 🙂

  4. Hi! I organize a photo shoot with my friends and I’m curious if ‘do I need to secure a permit if I do a photoshoot at san juan vintage car museum or at Villamor Air Base, or not anymore?’. Can I just go there and shoot like it’s UP? Hehe. It’s gonna be on Thursday, I need some help. I hope you reply. Thanks in advance!

    • Hi lalaine, sorry but I have no idea. I haven’t had the chance to inquire. Knowing the trend nowadays though I think u need to secure a permit. Better prepared than sorry. Try to contact their admin office to inquire. Good luck. 🙂

  5. This is my original list, I made it last 2010 :), Nice updates of info and pics – Gian – here’s the link -http://www.gianandfidji.com/blog/2010/01/14/gian-and-fidjis-prenuptial-location-suggestions/

  6. nice list! you can also include Cintai by Corito’s Garden in Batangas 🙂 ..my bf and I went there last week, it’s such an amazing place (parang natransport ka bigla sa Indonesia hehe).. and the photos taken there, when we posted them in fb, napapagkamalang prenup photos ng mga friends namin.. ok din po jan sa Isabelo sa Marikina, lakas din makaprenup ng mga pics namin jan hehe

    • Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll work on adding those places on the list as soon as I find time to update it. 🙂 Can you also share photos of the places you mentioned para I can put it up as inspiration?

  7. Hi! Nice blog! 😊 I’m Jay’s old team mate 😊 Saw some of your pre-nup pics before. Where did you obtain the permits to have a photoshoot in high street? May fee? Thanks! Regards to Jay 😊

    • Heya! Yup. You need a permit. You can get it from their admin building. At the time I think it was 2,000 or 2,500. Tapos, you have to do it in the mornings lang while there are not a lot of people. 🙂

  8. hi anyone know the bridal/photographer , who has 1 day prenup photo . including gown, tux, and make up, also the entrance fee.
im from outcountry and so interest have a photograph in Manila.
pls send me thru email sylvani.thelma@gmail.com

    • You can try checking Chestknots Studio (photography). They are partnered with Lifestyle by Feliz (styling + makeup) and have packages. But I don’t think there’s a package that includes the venue fees…

    • Thanks, Annie. I’ll add that to this list as soon as I get the time to update it. I actually have other new locations that I should add here. 🙂

Your photos are super nice. I love the colored powder… It’s actually in one of my suggested prenup themes as well. Just wondering, where did you guys get the powder?

  9. HI😊 IM THINKING Of having our PRENUP shoot at CAPONES ISLAND 😄 DO YOU KNOW OF ANYONE WE CAN CONTACT there? I HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH BOAT RIDE WILL BE AND ENTRANCE FEES😄 THANK YOU

    • Hi, sorry. I don’t have any contacts there. What we did is rent a room at pundaquit so we can leave our stuffs there and dun na rin nag-HMU. Tapos got a boat there lang. Can’t remember how much pero I think depends which islands you are going. No entrance fee sa capones island. Sa anawangin lang meron.

    • Thanks for the correction, Ciannelle. I guess this one’s already outdated. As mentioned in the post, I only consolidated the information and added/updated some information as needed. I do not monitor all the venues though and would not know whether any of them have updated their rates so feedback from you guys really help to keep this updated. I still have some venues to add but haven’t had the chance to do so. Thanks again.

    • Do you have any inspiration in mind? The Johnny Rockets photo I used I believe was Archie comics themed. I also saw one from Chestknots before that was Mario (game) inspired but they mostly used props to incorporate it. I guess aside from the venue, you can also use props and proper styling should be able to achieve what you want. 🙂

  10. Thanks for your suggestions, really helped us on where we will have our prenup.

A correction though or Isabelo the rate is already at 6,100 but is inclusive of food for 5 to 6 pax 🙂

    • Hi, I believe you need some sort of permit for this. When I was researching it before I remember may parang membership here. I don’t know if it’s still the case though and I’m not sure how to actually get one if ever. I remember finding some info from Google before but I didn’t take note na so you might want to Google na rin.

    • I’m not 100% sure but considering how things work in Makati, I would say there is a fee for a photoshoot there coz you would most likely need a permit for it. 🙂

    • You’re most welcome. Glad to know that people find this helpful. Feel free to share information rin po that I can add here para sa ibang readers. Thanks for visiting my blog. 🙂

  14. Hi, gud am, fabulous ideas. I would like to ask you, its about my daughter’s upcoming birthday in june. If you can give me ideas about the fantasy world in batangas. Her bday theme is one of the pricesses and Ithink the fantasy world is the best place so far, (u can still suggest more places to choose from pls). Do you know how to book for a photoshoot in fantasy world? .
    Pls reply😊😀😀

    • Hi Agnes, Thanks for visiting the site.

I remember Googling Fantasy World before and I think you either need to be a member or know someone who is a member to be able to use the venue. Its been years though so I’m not sure if this is still applicable. Try to contact them directly to get more accurate info.

You might also want to check Fernbrook if you want it to look more princess-y. Super nice place.

  15. Hi Duc Fam! Hope you’ll like our prenup shoot location too. It was an old grand mansion that was left with us after being shut for over 20 years. We now call it Bahay Lakan (http://facebook.com/bahaylakan).

My bf and I run it. It has a romantic nostalgic charm to it. And we’re more affordable than the average venue. Is it ok to add us to the list? We’d super appreciate it! :3

    Thank you so much! ❤

  16. Hope you can add Villa Milagros Events Venue on this Prenup Locations List Within Metro Manila. This place is very elegant and new! I love the interiors of their rooms (they have 5 different rooms) especially the Mansion itself.

  17. Hi, there is a new place to do shoots, in Silang, Cavite, near the Riviera Golf Club, it is a new venue, COTTAGE GARDEN SILANG…basically it is a horse ranch, and gardens, open fields. The Venue has that rustic, shabby chic country feel. The cost for pre-nups is P8,000 whole day from 6 am to 9pm, or P1,000 per hour, with use of guest house for preperation, make-up.
